In our daily work we live by our values. Focusing on our customers, we always aim for the highest quality in all that we do. Our Code of Conduct is an illustration of those values. Our Code of Conduct covers our basic ethical standards and core values that are applicable to all of us, all the time. 

HUMAN RIGHTS 

Serres respects human rights as defined by the United Nations.
 
PRINCIPLES AND RIGHTS AT WORK 

Serres complies with fair employment practices and honors internationally accepted human and labor rights and labor standards, including the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work of 1998. Accordingly:  
 
Serres respects the rights of employees to form and join trade unions of their choice and to bargain collectively. 
Serres does not use forced labor or any other form of involuntary labor. 
Serres respects the rights of children to develop and to receive an education and does not engage in or tolerate the use of child labor.  
Serres provides equal opportunities for its employees and does not practice discrimination according to race, gender, age, religion, political opinion, marital status, or sexual orientation. Serres has zero tolerance for any form of abuse or harassment. 
Serres is committed to complying with all laws pertaining to privacy of personal information. 

WAGES AND WORKING HOURS 

Serres complies with all applicable laws and industry standards concerning working hours and compensation for work.  

ENVIRONMENT 

Serres strives to work sustainably and to reduce waste and emissions. Serres handles chemicals in an environmentally safe way and stores and disposes any hazardous waste in an environmentally safe manner. 

HEALTH AND SAFETY 

Serres provides a safe working environment, which complies with or exceeds applicable laws and regulations. Employees are informed of any risks associated with their work duties and the employees have access to personal protective equipment where required. 
 
ANTI-CORRUPTION 

Serres has zero tolerance towards any and all forms of bribery and corruption. Serres' employees are always subject to requirements by local, national and/or international laws. These zero tolerances includes i.e. that no undue payments or other forms of compensation shall be offered to, accepted, or requested from any person or organization, with the aim of obtaining, maintaining, or directing business operations or receive other undue advantages, or which can affect the objectivity of business decisions. 

REGULATORY 

Serres complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, including environmental laws and regulations in countries where it operates. All Serres employees are expected to act in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations applicable to their country and position.  
 
RELATIONSHIPS WITH THIRD PARTIES
 
Serres complies with good business conduct in all of its business operations and competes fairly. Serres fosters the transparency of operations and avoids using intermediaries without a legitimate business reason. Business relationships are based on commercial judgment and business decisions are made free from conflicts of interest. 
 
Serres' relationships with suppliers and other third parties are based on trust and honesty. Serres expects its suppliers to follow similar good business conduct and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. 
 
RAISING OF CONCERNS
 
Serres is committed to complying with this Code of Conduct and expects compliance also from all its employees. Prevention of violation is easier than facing the consequences.  
 
All compliance concerns are addressed in accordance with Serres' internal processes also through Whistleblower channel. No adverse work-related consequences will be imposed for raising any concern about the compliance with this Code of Conduct. Any investigation will be conducted confidential, and consequences will be considered only after completion of investigation.
