Serres and Innokas Medical to support families with critically ill children by becoming sponsors of the Ronald McDonald House in Helsinki

Serres and Innokas Medical are delighted to announce family room sponsorship with Ronald McDonald House Charities in Helsinki. Ronald McDonald House provides a homelike place to stay for families with critically ill children receiving specialized medical treatment at the New Children’s Hospital in Helsinki. Serres and Innokas Medical are part of Paree Group Oy, a Finnish health tech company developing progressive solutions for tomorrow’s hospitals.

Every year, more than 400 families stay at the Ronald McDonald House in Helsinki, while their children receive first-rate care at the New Children’s Hospital. Serres and Innokas Medical are sponsoring one of the 14 guest rooms of the House for one year. Sponsorship helps offset the cost of operating the House, offering families a homelike place to stay close by their hospitalized child at a low cost.

By staying at the Ronald McDonald House families can focus on the health of their child while their child gets the best possible care – even if it’s hundreds of kilometres away from home.

“The principle idea of the Ronald McDonald House is perfectly in line with what we aim to achieve with what we do: to help people focus where it matters when it matters the most. We do it by developing smart solutions around suction to healthcare professionals; the Ronald McDonald House does it by providing a safe place where families can focus on their child’s health. The Finnish Ronald McDonald House Charity is a part of the International Ronald McDonald House Charities first founded in the US back in 1986. First Ronald McDonald House was opened in Philadelphia, US in 1974. Today, there are all in all 365 Houses in 44 countries and counting.
