Serres, the progressive leader in smart fluid management solutions around suction, today announced the inauguration of a new production line at its Saarijärvi site in Finland for the manufacture of the Serres Suction Bags used in healthcare for fluid medical waste collection. The new production line will enable a significant 25 percent increase in the plant’s production capacity.
The extension of the production capacity enables Serres’ growth and expansion to new markets and is in line with the company’s global growth strategy. Serres is the leading manufacturer of suction bag systems in Europe, supplying smart fluid management solutions worldwide to more than 50 countries through its extensive distributor network.

The development, design, manufacture and implementation of the new production line is a demanding project that showcases Finnish expertise.

The assembly of the new production line began at Saarijärvi in April; the line will be in full production capacity in August. It is built making use of existing facilities and will not require extensions to the building itself.
