Serres supports China during coronavirus; donates suction bags for multiple hospitals

In early 2020, the world faced an epidemic risk with the outbreak of a new type of coronavirus that first spiked in Wuhan, China. Despite effective measures to keep the outbreak from spreading further, almost 80,000 cases in 36 countries have already been confirmed to date and counting.

Due to rapid increase in patients, hospitals across the country have suffered from shortage of medical supplies and medicines. Major public hospitals in the big cities have appealed for donations of hospital disposables that can withstand the spread of body fluids.  

To support China during the coronavirus epidemic, Serres has donated suction bag systems for multiple hospitals in China. Donations have been pointed to ICU departments where patients are first welcomed for further treatment.

Serres continues to take concrete actions to support Chinese hospitals with supplies to help keep the coronavirus outbreak from spreading further. Serres China staff and agents alike are contacting hospitals across the country to identify and actionize second round of donations.
