25th Serres Annual Distributor Meeting Brings Together Valued Partners

Every year, Serres welcomes its global distribution network from more than 50 markets around the world to its Annual Distributor Meeting. The event celebrates long-standing partnerships, provides a forum for exchanging valuable market insights, and explores the future of surgical fluid management and healthcare.
This year, the meeting was held for the 25th time in Barcelona, Spain, on 27–28 May 2026, proudly bringing together participants from 24 countries.
Innovation and Sustainability At the Core
This year, a central focus of the meeting was the future of healthcare and the role of innovation in driving more sustainable solutions. Participants gained insights into the journey of Serres Sylva®, our next-generation surgical suction bag, from development through to its global launch in February 2026.
An innovation workshop further explored the importance of understanding and utilizing customer feedback to develop customer-focused solutions and future offerings. For us at Serres, customer feedback is a continuous and valuable resource that helps ensure our solutions meet the demands of operating rooms worldwide.
Driving Sustainable Healthcare Through Shared Best Practices
With sustainability at the heart of everything we do at Serres, it remained one of the key themes throughout the meeting. Together, we explored how more sustainable surgical fluid management supports hospitals in reaching their sustainability goals.
A panel discussion with insights from Canada, Spain, Chile, France, and Sweden shared best practices and highlighted the importance of sustainability across different healthcare systems and markets. Participants also gained valuable insights into healthcare sustainability initiatives through a presentation on the work of Institut Català de la Salut, the largest public healthcare services provider in Catalonia.

Learning Through Collaboration
As every year, the annual Distributor Meeting provides a valuable forum for exchanging experiences and market insights from around the world. Distributors shared perspectives on customer needs, healthcare trends, and business opportunities across different regions, including presentations and discussions featuring experiences from the United Kingdom, Brazil, and Belgium.
We would like to thank all participants for their active engagement and contributions. After 25 annual Distributor Meetings, this event continues to be an important platform for learning, collaboration, and advancing our shared mission of bringing responsible workflows to the operating room in more than 50 countries across the globe.
